Middletown Little League - Campbell Scholarship Essay Contest

On April 1, 2006, Bodman Park Field 4 was dedicated as Campbell Field to honor the memory of John and Nancy Campbell who devoted over 30 years to the Middletown Youth Athletic Association (MYAA) program and the children of Middletown.

In 2007, Middletown Little League commenced the “Campbell Scholarship” program where an annual scholarship award is presented to one male and one female high school senior who have participated in the Middletown Little League/Softball (MYAA) programs.  

Recipients are chosen each year from a pool of applicants who submit essays on their future plans, including college, and how their MYAA experience played a role in their life.

This year (Spring 2022), Middletown Little League is pleased to announce that we will be awarding two (2) $500 “Campbell Scholarship” awards to current high school seniors (Class of 2022), one male and one female, who have participated in the MYAA Little League/Softball program.

Interested students must submit applications postmarked by Friday, April 8, 2022.
